Youth Cheer Photo Day Prep Guide

We’re looking forward to Photo Day! A little preparation helps us keep the day running smoothly and ensures every cheerleader looks their best.

Before Photo Day

• Please arrive photo-ready, with uniform on and hair styled.

• Make sure uniforms are clean, wrinkle-free, and complete.

• Bring all required uniform pieces and accessories - bows, socks, shoes, warm-ups, etc.

• Please check that shoes are clean, especially the soles and edges.

• Keep makeup, if worn, consistent with your league/team guidelines.

• Avoid temporary tattoos, wrist stamps, or writing on hands/arms before photos.

Hair & Appearance

• Style hair according to your team's Photo Day guidelines.

• Secure bows and hair accessories before arriving.

• Bring a few extra hair ties, clips, or bobby pins for quick fixes.

• A quick check in the mirror before your photo can make a big difference!

What to Expect

• We’ll photograph each cheerleader individually and will also create team/group photos. Individual photos may include a variety of poses, including traditional portraits and more dynamic cheer-inspired poses.

• No modeling experience needed! We will guide each athlete through posing, positioning, and expressions.

Parents

• To help us stay on schedule, please have your cheerleader ready at their team's designated photo time. Coaches and Photo Day staff will help move athletes through the photography area.
